Magnus Magnusson - s/t 7"

Back in 2007, when I was at university in Leeds, younger and much more fun, me and my friend Thom Woodroff decided to start a band. Over the course of a few months we wrote a few songs, played some shows and put out this 7". This was the first release on Specialist Subject, we only pressed 220 copies but since we only ever played 2 more shows after the record was pressed a bunch of copies have been sitting around ever since.

I haven't even had it available here for a while because we never got round to making covers for about half of them, so in a desperate bid to clear a bit of space on my shelves I've knocked up some new covers and will be giving the rest of these away for free.

You can order the 7" on it's own for just the price of postage (you can give a donation for the record if you wish) or I'll be putting these in for free with any other vinyl order until they're all gone!

We were a 2 piece, shouty, acoustic affair. 2 guitars, both singing, I played a toy accordion on some songs. Basically we were like ONSIND, if they were much more naive (or shit?) and only half as northern. Listening back to these songs for the first time in years I'm not sure how well it's aged, in hindsight there's definitely parts that have me cringing but there's also stuff that I'm still really proud of.
